Job Description: Sales Head – Solar Industry
Location: Nagpur
Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Industry
Experience: 4+ Years in Sales Leadership (Solar Industry Preferred)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Head to lead our sales operations from Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing regional sales performance, expanding market presence, and leading a high-performing sales team in the solar energy sector.

The candidate should have strong expertise in regional sales management, dealer/distributor network expansion, customer relationship management, and achieving business targets through effective sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
Lead sales operations across the assigned region with a focus on market expansion and profitability.
Manage, guide, and motivate sales teams, area managers, and sales executives to achieve individual and team targets.
Build and strengthen dealer, distributor, channel partner, and customer networks across the region.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential growth areas within the solar industry.
Plan and execute effective sales campaigns and market penetration strategies.
Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights for business improvement.
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through strong planning and ground-level execution.
Develop strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, technical, and management teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for senior management.
Stay updated with industry developments, competitor activities, and changing market dynamics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 4+ years of experience in Sales Leadership / Regional Sales Management.
Experience in the Solar Energy / Renewable Energy Industry is preferred.
MBA in Marketing / Sales or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of regional sales management, channel development, and business expansion.
Proven experience in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to develop strategies and execute plans effectively in a competitive market.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance and drive improvements.
Willingness to travel and manage field-level sales activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience handling sales teams in the solar EPC, rooftop solar, or renewable energy sector.
Strong network with dealers, distributors, commercial customers, and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales growth and expanding market presence.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹95,838.78 per month
