Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Manager to manage the company’s accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounting activities, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization.

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.

- Supervise and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

- Perform regular bank, cash, ledger, and account reconciliations.

- Monitor company income, expenses, cash flow, outstanding payments, and receivables.

- Ensure timely recording and verification of invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.

- Manage GST-related activities, including GST returns, reconciliation, and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with applicable income tax, TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals during audits and assessments.

- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, financial projections, and variance reports.

- Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to management regarding revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.

- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate with relevant departments for timely collections and payments.

- Establish and maintain proper internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

- Identify accounting discrepancies, investigate errors, and take corrective action.

- Ensure proper maintenance and secure storage of financial records and supporting documents.

- Prepare financial information required by management for business planning and decision-making.

- Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.

- Supervise, guide, and train junior accountants and other finance team members.

- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, taxation rules, GST regulations, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.

- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and financial analysis.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and ledger management.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- M.Com or other relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.

Experience

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

- Previous experience in an Accountant Manager, Senior Accountant, Finance Executive, or similar role is preferred.

- Experience handling GST, taxation, audits, and financial reporting will be an added advantage.

- Timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

- Effective management of receivables and payables.

- Timely preparation of financial reports.

- Effective cash-flow and expense management.

Pay: ₹8,593.92 - ₹41,741.94 per month
