Full job description

Ensures manufacturing support by providing tools and fixtures for production and evaluates the specifications of the parts and completed tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure all safety requirements are met.
Maintain documents & follow inline to IATF standard
Repair & Maintenance of progressive dies to ensure they meet production requirements.
Preventive Maintenance of Tools as per plan.
Attend the Troubleshoot and diagnose tooling issues during production runs.
Basic Knowledge to Operate conventional machines.
Maintain tooling spare part inventory and ensure proper storage and organization.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Kaizen & activity of continuous improvement.
Follow Quality Management System and support record keeping and audits for all the tools.
Take accountability for on time completion of given task.
Capable of working to drawings, diagrams, and schematics
Participate as continuous improvement teams as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skill Set and Profile

Knowledge of die maintenance practices, including disassembly, cleaning, repair, and assembly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to use precision measurement instruments and tools for accurate adjustments and repairs.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Hands-on experience operates surface grinding machine.
knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes,

Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Tool & Die Making -NTTF /GTTC or Equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in Progressive tool Maintenance in Stamping.
