Position Overview
We are hiring a Remote Leasing Consultant to support apartment communities across the United States. This role is heavily focused on calling and following up with prospective residents who have already expressed interest in an apartment community.
You will spend a significant portion of your day on the phone speaking with leads, answering questions, nurturing prospects, overcoming objections, and scheduling apartment tours for onsite leasing teams. Success in this role requires excellent spoken English, persistence, strong follow-up skills, and strict adherence to leasing processes and SOPs.
Work Schedule
Monday – Saturday
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)
(One scheduled day off during the week may be provided based on business needs.)
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to warm leads daily.
- Respond quickly to inbound inquiries from prospective residents.
- Qualify prospects based on move-in date, budget, apartment preferences, and availability.
- Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication through phone, text, and email.
- Follow structured follow-up schedules to maximize lead conversion.
- Educate prospects about apartment communities, amenities, floor plans, and leasing requirements.
- Schedule virtual and in-person property tours.
- Maintain accurate notes and activity records in CRM systems.
- Follow established leasing processes and company SOPs without exception.
- Work closely with onsite leasing teams to ensure a seamless prospect experience.
Must-Have Skills & QualificationsRequired
- Excellent spoken English with a clear, professional phone presence.

- Strong appointment-setting and follow-up skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow scripts, workflows, and SOPs consistently.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to handle objections and keep conversations focused on scheduling tours.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace.
- Strong CRM and computer skills.
Preferred
- Previous apartment leasing experience.
- Experience in multifamily housing, property management, inside sales, call center, or appointment-setting roles.
- Familiarity with Entrata, Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar property management software.
- Experience working with U.S.-based customers.
Performance Expectations
- High outbound call volume daily.
- Consistent lead follow-up and nurturing.
- Strong appointment booking rate.
- Accurate CRM documentation.
- Timely response to all new leads.
- Ability to meet or exceed leasing appointment goals.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate enjoys talking to people, is energized by phone-based sales and customer interactions, follows processes consistently, and understands that frequent follow-up is essential to converting apartment inquiries into scheduled tours and signed leases.
