Job Purpose

The Social Media Executive is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing digital content across Hugcare's social media platforms. The role focuses on strengthening the Hugcare brand, increasing audience engagement, promoting mental health awareness, supporting business growth, and maintaining a professional online presence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities1. Social Media Management

Manage Hugcare's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other digital channels.
Publish daily posts, reels, stories, and videos according to the content calendar.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.

2. Content Creation

Develop engaging content related to psychology, mental health, corporate wellness, internships, recruitment, events, and company achievements.
Write captions, hashtags, and promotional copy.
Coordinate with the graphic designer, photographer, and video editor to produce high-quality content.
Ensure all content aligns with Hugcare's brand identity.

3. Campaign Planning

Plan and execute social media campaigns.
Promote workshops, counselling services, internship programs, corporate services, and awareness campaigns.
Support online and offline marketing initiatives.
Prepare monthly content calendars.

4. Photography & Videography Coordination

Coordinate photo and video shoots.
Capture behind-the-scenes content when required.
Assist during company events, seminars, workshops, and outreach programs.
Ensure media assets are organized and stored securely.

5. Community Engagement

Respond professionally to inquiries, comments, and direct messages.
Build positive relationships with followers and clients.
Escalate clinical or sensitive inquiries to the appropriate department.
Encourage meaningful engagement while maintaining professionalism.

6. Digital Marketing Support

Assist with social media advertising campaigns.
Support lead generation activities.
Promote Hugcare services through digital channels.
Coordinate with the marketing team to achieve campaign objectives.

7. Analytics & Reporting

Monitor social media performance using analytics tools.
Track follower growth, reach, engagement, website traffic, and campaign performance.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Recommend improvements based on data and audience insights.

8. Brand Management

Maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Ensure that all published content reflects Hugcare's values and professionalism.
Monitor brand reputation online.
Report negative feedback or reputation risks promptly.

9. Collaboration

Work closely with psychologists, HR, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and management to create relevant content.
Coordinate with external agencies or influencers when approved by management.
Support cross-functional marketing projects.

10. Innovation & Trend Monitoring

Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing practices.
Suggest creative ideas for reels, campaigns, and audience engagement.
Experiment with new content formats to improve reach and engagement.

Administrative Responsibilities

Attend departmental meetings.
Submit content plans and reports on time.
Maintain a digital library of photos, videos, and creative assets.
Ensure all scheduled posts are published as planned.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding upcoming events and announcements.

The Social Media Executive shall:

Maintain confidentiality regarding company and client information.
Represent Hugcare professionally in all online interactions.
Ensure all content is accurate, respectful, and ethically appropriate.
Follow copyright, privacy, and intellectual property regulations.
Obtain necessary approvals before publishing sensitive content.
Maintain professionalism in communication with clients, followers, and business partners.

Daily Responsibilities

Review the daily content schedule.
Create or schedule posts, reels, and stories.
Respond to comments and direct messages.
Coordinate content production with the creative team.
Capture photos and videos when required.
Monitor social media performance.
Stay updated on industry trends.
Report daily progress to the reporting manager.

Skills & Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong content writing and storytelling ability.
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and branding.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Photography and videography coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.

Ability to work under deadlines.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Problem-solving and adaptability.
