Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Rooftop Solar Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of rooftop solar projects. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage rooftop solar installation projects from site assessment through commissioning and handover.
Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
Conduct site surveys and evaluate technical feasibility, including roof structure, shading analysis, and electrical infrastructure.
Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Manage relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and utility providers.
Oversee procurement of solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, and other project materials.
Monitor project quality and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, safety practices, and customer experience.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

3–7 years of experience in solar project management, with a strong focus on rooftop solar installations in the C&I sector.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading field teams.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of rooftop solar system design, installation, and commissioning.
Knowledge of electrical systems, net metering, and solar industry regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with solar design software is a plus.

Soft Skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

On-time project completion rate.
Project budget adherence.
Installation quality and safety compliance.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Team productivity and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in solar energy or project management (e.g., PMP, NABCEP, or equivalent).
Experience with commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects.
Knowledge of government incentives, subsidies, and utility interconnection processes.

Pay: ₹690,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
