Job Summary
The Engineering Store Executive is responsible for managing engineering spare parts, maintenance consumables, inventory control, material receipt, issue, storage, and procurement coordination to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations in the factory.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Management
- Maintain engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels.
- Issue materials to maintenance personnel as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, and stock balances.
Inventory Control
- Conduct periodic stock verification and cycle counts.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions.
Procurement Coordination
- Raise purchase requisitions for engineering spares and consumables.
- Coordinate with procurement vendors for quotations and material follow-up.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and specifications.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and material quality.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and replacement of rejected materials.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Engineering Stores, Maintenance Stores, or Inventory Management, preferably in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of engineering spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Inventory management and stock control.
- ERP/SAP knowledge preferred.
- MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
