About Position:

We are looking for a Data Security Consultant with strong hands?on experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies, specifically Symantec DLP (Broadcom) and Forcepoint DLP. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing DLP solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

Engage with enterprise customers as a product expert to implement solutions, using remote web conferencing tools.
Implementation activities include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions and implementing product best practices
Driving high levels of customer satisfaction
Be a strong voice for your customers in the Product and Engineering teams to improve the product and ensure that Proofpoint deployments are successful
Working with multiple parties - internal departments as well as the customer - to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution to technical issues and completion of projects
Define and document the best practice techniques, processes, templates, and architectures for use by the greater field organization

Expertise You'll Bring:

5+ years of industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, sales engineering, or technical support
Experience with Email Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, or Cloud Security
Experience in large systems design and project implementation for enterprise environments
System administration experience with Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, including web infrastructure (IIS, MS SQL)
Broad technical knowledge of Internet SaaS products and technologies such as: O365, G-Suite, Single Sign-On Solutions (Azure SSO, SAML, Okta, etc.), Azure AD & ADFS, etc.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Proofpoint products and technologies
A thorough understanding of TCP/IP protocols and how they work. Knowledge of networking topology, configuration, and components (e.g, Firewalls, VLANs, Routers, etc.)
Strong background with cyber-attacks: Data Exfiltration/Leakage, Spam, Account takeover, Malware, etc.
Must be able to run a project independently, clearly communicate and explain concepts and implementation processes, and maintain consulting best practices
Proficiency in additional languages would be a significant advantage (German/Italian/French/Spanish/Arabic)
Ability to work at all levels of the organization, both technically and politically.
