Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and impact-driven Innovation Scientist – Climate & Sustainability Solutions to lead the research, development, and deployment of innovative technologies addressing climate change, environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and circular economy challenges.
The role focuses on identifying emerging opportunities, developing scalable solutions, and transforming scientific innovations into commercially viable products, services, and sustainability programs. The successful candidate will work across disciplines including environmental science, renewable energy, carbon management, sustainable materials, waste valorization, water technologies, and climate resilience.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, Innovation & Technology Development
- Identify critical environmental and climate-related challenges and develop innovative technology-driven solutions.
- Design, evaluate, and prototype sustainable products, processes, and systems.
- Lead R&D initiatives in areas such as:
- Carbon capture and utilization
- Climate adaptation technologies
- Renewable energy systems
- Circular economy solutions
- Sustainable materials
- Waste-to-value technologies
- Water conservation and treatment
- Sustainable agriculture technologies
- Conduct feasibility studies, pilot projects, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Sustainability Strategy & Impact Assessment
- Develop sustainability frameworks and measurable environmental impact indicators.
- Perform lifecycle assessments (LCA) and environmental impact analyses.
- Assess carbon footprints, resource efficiency, and emission reduction opportunities.
- Design sustainability roadmaps for products, organizations, and communities.
- Support net-zero and climate resilience initiatives.
Product Development & Commercialization
- Translate scientific discoveries into market-ready products and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and policy teams to commercialize innovations.
- Develop pilot-scale projects and support technology transfer activities.
- Evaluate market potential, scalability, and commercialization pathways for climate technologies.
Partnerships & Collaboration
- Collaborate with universities, research institutions, industries, government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
- Build strategic partnerships for sustainability projects and innovation programs.
- Contribute to grant proposals, funding applications, and consortium-based research initiatives.
Innovation Management
- Monitor emerging climate technologies, sustainability trends, and policy developments.
- Conduct technology scouting and competitive analysis.
- Generate intellectual property, patents, and innovation disclosures.
- Prepare scientific publications, white papers, and technical reports.

- Exceptional fresh Ph.D. candidates with relevant research experience may also be considered.
