Job Description: Business Development Manager – Franchise Sales (Dessertino)
Location: Andhra Pradesh (Travel Required)
Reporting To: General Manager / Business Head

Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for end-to-end franchise sales for the Dessertino brand across Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on identifying potential franchise partners, generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, and successfully closing franchise deals in line with company expansion targets.
This is a target-driven, high-ownership role requiring strong sales capability, relationship management, and structured reporting.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and generate leads through:
- Field visits and local market mapping
- Broker and consultant networks
- Digital platforms (JustDial, IndiaMART, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Franchise exhibitions and events
- Referral networks and existing franchisees
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential franchise investors
- Develop relationships with property consultants and local influencers
2. Lead Qualification
- Assess prospects based on:
- Investment capability
- Location viability
- Business intent and seriousness
- Conduct initial screening calls and meetings
- Maintain detailed lead qualification notes and status updates
3. Franchise Sales & Conversion
- Present Dessertino’s:
- Business model
- Investment structure
- ROI expectations
- Brand positioning and support systems
- Conduct:
- Discovery meetings
- Site discussions
- Financial discussions
- Handle objections and negotiations effectively
- Ensure closure of franchise agreements within defined timelines
4. Site Coordination & Deal Finalization
- Coordinate with prospects on:
- Location finalization
- Basic site feasibility
- Work closely with internal teams for:
- Site approval
- Documentation
- Agreement signing
- Ensure smooth transition from lead closure to onboarding
5. Sales Targets & Performance
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for:
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Meetings conducted
- Franchise deals closed
- Maintain a strong conversion ratio from lead → closure
- Continuously improve funnel efficiency
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM / tracking sheets
- Submit:
- Daily activity reports (calls, meetings, follow-ups)
- Weekly pipeline reports
- Monthly performance reports vs targets
- Track:
- Lead source effectiveness
- Conversion rates
- Sales cycle timelines
- Ensure all documentation related to leads and closures is properly maintained
7. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Gather insights on:
- Competitor brands
- Franchise trends
- Local market opportunities
- Provide feedback to management on:
- Pricing strategy
- Expansion opportunities
- Lead generation improvements
8. Brand Representation
- Act as a brand ambassador for Dessertino
- Maintain professionalism in all client interactions
- Ensure consistent communication aligned with brand values

- Number of leads generated per month
- Number of qualified leads
- Conversion ratio (Lead to Deal)
- Number of franchise closures
- Revenue generated from franchise sales
- Timeliness and accuracy of reports
- Pipeline health and follow-up efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Franchise sales / business development / B2B sales
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation ability
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Good understanding of Andhra Pradesh market (preferred)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
