Designation: Import Export Executive
Department: Import / Export
Location: Sachin, Surat, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: General Manager / Management
Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an Import Export Executive to manage import/export documentation, shipment coordination and day-to-day communication with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, customs agents/CHA and logistics partners. The role will ensure that shipments and related documentation are handled accurately and within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain import/export documentation and shipment records.
Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists and other required documents.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, CHA/customs agents and transporters.
Coordinate shipping, dispatch and customs clearance documentation.
Track import/export shipments and provide timely status updates to concerned teams.
Coordinate with CHA/customs agents for smooth and timely customs clearance.
Ensure timely submission of required documents to customers, suppliers, logistics partners and other concerned parties.
Maintain accurate records and databases of import/export transactions and shipment documents.
Coordinate with the Accounts team regarding invoices, payments, bank documentation and other financial requirements.
Monitor freight, customs and other shipment-related charges.
Assist in resolving documentation, shipment, logistics and clearance-related issues.
Keep track of applicable import/export procedures and documentation requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of import/export documentation and processes.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Strong coordination, follow-up and communication skills.
Good attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to coordinate effectively with external agencies and logistics partners.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks within deadlines.

Education

Graduate in Commerce, International Business, Logistics or a related field.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in Import/Export, Logistics or International Trade. Experience in a manufacturing or export-oriented organisation will be an advantage.

Timely and accurate completion of import/export documentation.
Smooth customs clearance and shipment movement.
Adherence to applicable import/export procedures.
Accurate shipment tracking and timely communication.
Effective coordination with logistics partners and external agencies.
Monitoring and control of shipment-related costs.

A detail-oriented and responsible professional who can independently manage documentation, follow up with multiple stakeholders and ensure that import/export shipments move smoothly and on time.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
