Job Description: HR Assistant (Automobile Industry)

Location: Halaga, (Belagavi / Belgaum), Karnataka

Experience: 1 to 3 years (Automobile Industry experience is mandatory)

Languages Required: Fluent in English, Kannada, and Hindi

Employment Type: Full-time, Immediate Joiner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on HR Assistant to manage our end-to-end Human Resources operations and general administration at our facility in Halaga, (Belagavi / Belgaum). The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of core HR experience within the automobile manufacturing or dealership industry and must be fully proficient in handling everything from recruitment to exit formalities.

As a key point of contact for our employees, you must be comfortable communicating fluently in Kannada, English, and Hindi to effectively interact with both floor staff and management.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment & On boarding

Post open positions on various job portals and local job boards.
Source, screen, and short-list resumes based on technical requirements specific to the automobile sector.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with department heads.
Manage the complete on boarding process, including document verification and conducting induction sessions.

2. HR Operations, Payroll & Attendance

Maintain and update digital and physical employee records (personal files, leave records, etc.).
Manage daily attendance tracking systems (biometric/manual) and handle leave management.
Assist in monthly payroll processing by compiling attendance data, tracking overtime, and managing salary inputs.
Handle day-to-day employee queries regarding policies, grievances, and benefits.
Handle Complete Exit Formalities.

3. Office Administration

Oversee daily office administration tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
Assist management with basic documentation, compliance paperwork, and reporting.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and finance or knowledge of finance (B.Com) or a related field. An MBA in HR and Finance is a plus.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in a HR role. Experience in the Automobile industry is an absolute must.
Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word and job portals.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities, problem-solving mindset, and a high level of confidentiality.

Work Location Note: This role is entirely based on-site at our location in Halaga, (Belagavi / Belgaum). Candidates residing in or willing to commute easily to Halaga will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
