We are looking for a Pizza Chef to join our dynamic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.

Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!

The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

Job Description

What you’ll do…

Prepare, stretch, top and bake pizzas to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in quality, taste and presentation.
Manage the pizza station during service, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
Prepare fresh dough, sauces and toppings following approved recipes and production schedules.
Monitor dough fermentation, ingredient quality and stock levels to ensure the best product reaches our guests.
Maintain consistency across all pizza offerings while supporting seasonal menus, specials and new recipe development.
Ensure all ingredients are stored, labelled and rotated correctly while minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization and food safety within the pizza section at all times.
Work closely with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to deliver seamless service across restaurants, events and special occasions.
Support junior chefs with guidance and training, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.
Take pride in your section, ensuring all equipment is clean, maintained and operating safely.

Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant or hotel kitchen.
Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation techniques, wood-fired and/or deck ovens, and authentic pizza production.
Excellent understanding of food safety, allergens and HACCP requirements.
A keen eye for quality, consistency and presentation.
Organized, calm under pressure and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
