Job Location: Daman

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead and manage end-to-end Human Resources functions for a manufacturing setup. The role requires strong expertise in HR business partnering, labour law compliance, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning & development, and administration. The candidate will work closely with business leaders to drive people strategy, compliance excellence, and organizational effectiveness.

Educational Qualification

MBA in HR / MLS / Diploma in HRM (mandatory)
SHRM membership preferred

Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in Human Resources
Prior experience in the manufacturing sector preferred
Strong exposure to factory HR operations and statutory compliance

Key Responsibilities

1. Compensation & Benefits

Develop and implement compensation & benefits strategies aligned with business goals
Ensure accurate payroll inputs and statutory compliance
Conduct compliance audits and close audit observations within timelines

Timely payroll and compliance closure
100% statutory compliance
Closure of audit findings within deadlines

2. HR Planning & Budgeting

Prepare annual manpower plans and HR budgets in coordination with business heads
Track HR costs against Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Analyze HR metrics such as attrition, productivity, staffing costs, and contract labour utilization
Generate MIS reports and HR dashboards

KPIs

Timely AOP preparation
Accurate MIS reporting and analytics
HR cost optimization

3. Talent Acquisition

Lead recruitment planning and hiring strategy
Ensure quality hiring and cultural fit within agreed timelines
Manage recruitment pipeline and stakeholder escalations
Align workforce structure with organizational pyramid requirements

KPIs

Recruitment turnaround time (TAT)
Quality and timely closure of positions
Recruitment cost adherence to budget

4. Factory Compliance & Labour Relations

Ensure compliance with labour laws, Factory Act, and statutory requirements
Maintain statutory records and liaise with government authorities
Support labour inspections and audits

KPIs

Zero non-compliance cases
Timely statutory submissions and record maintenance

5. Contract Labour Management

Ensure compliance under the Contract Labour Act
Maintain adequate contract workforce availability
Monitor contractor performance and compliance
Optimize contract labour costs

KPIs

Contractor compliance adherence
Optimum manpower utilization and cost control

6. Learning & Development

Identify organizational training needs
Implement annual training calendar
Maintain pre- and post-training evaluation records
Drive employee capability development initiatives

Training completion rate
Effectiveness of training programs

7. Administration & Facility Management

Oversee facility management, security, transportation, and housekeeping
Manage admin vendors and control operational expenses
Ensure a safe, hygienic, and productive work environment

Efficient vendor management
Workplace safety and infrastructure standards
Admin cost optimization

Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience handling large workforce and factory HR operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
