About the Role
Raj Group is looking for a highly strategic and systems-driven Group CFO who will architect, govern, and strengthen the financial backbone of the Group across multiple businesses.
This is not a traditional accounting or compliance role. The position is focused on building scalable financial systems, enforcing governance, driving MIS excellence, and enabling controlled business growth across sectors including Real Estate, Media, Facility Management, Leasing & Renovation, IT, Education, and Foundation operations.
The Group CFO will work directly with the Directors and act as the final financial gatekeeper for the Group.
Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Financial Governance
- Build and maintain the Group Accounting Framework
- Standardize accounting policies across all group companies
- Govern Chart of Accounts, cost centres, and MIS structures
- Eliminate ad-hoc and person-dependent accounting practices
- Create system-driven financial discipline across the organization
Company-Level Financial Control
Oversee accounting frameworks and financial playbooks for Raj Group Of Companies:

Ensure:
- Proper WIP, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
- Standardized controls and reporting practices
- Uniform implementation of group financial policies
Tally Governance
- Establish Tally as the single source of financial truth
- Enforce voucher discipline and approval workflows
- Monitor audit trails and period closing controls
- Restrict misuse of journal entries and backdated transactions
- Ensure clean and audit-ready books at all times
ERP & Automation Strategy
- Define ERP vs Tally responsibilities clearly
- Lead accounting integration during ERP implementation
- Ensure automation supports governance and reporting quality
- Prevent uncontrolled or poorly designed system practices
MIS & Strategic Reporting
- Design and deliver monthly MIS across companies
- Drive project-wise and business profitability reporting
- Create consolidated group financial dashboards
- Convert accounting data into actionable business insights
Intercompany Accounting & Group Controls
- Manage all intercompany accounting principles
- Ensure timely reconciliation and settlement discipline
- Monitor pricing documentation and balance controls
- Prevent hidden liabilities and accounting leakages
Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Ensure GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax compliance
- Maintain regulatory readiness across all entities
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks proactively
Team Leadership
- Build and mentor a strong central finance team
- Standardize finance and ERP training across companies
- Reduce dependency on individuals through documentation and systems
- Drive a culture of accountability and process discipline
Desired Candidate ProfileExperience
- 12–20 years of experience in finance leadership roles
- Experience managing multi-company business groups
- Exposure to project-based businesses (Real Estate preferred)
- Experience with service and operational businesses
- Strong hands-on expertise in Tally (mandatory)
- ERP integration and system implementation exposure preferred
