Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across industries such as textiles, paper, ceramics, chemicals, food processing, steel, cement, and other manufacturing sectors.
Promote SHCC's range of imported and indigenous coal products by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable fuel solutions.
Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular meetings, site visits, and follow-ups.
Conduct market visits to generate leads, expand the customer network, and increase market presence.
Prepare and present quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close sales opportunities.
Coordinate with the procurement, operations, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders and smooth delivery processes.
Monitor industry trends, coal prices, competitor activities, and market demand to identify new business opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates using the company's CRM/ERP system.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Follow up on outstanding payments and support the accounts team in collection activities whenever required.
Represent SHCC at industry exhibitions, trade events, business meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and business growth.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Commerce, or any relevant discipline.
2-10 years of experience in B2B sales or marketing. Experience in coal trading, industrial fuels, minerals, cement, steel, energy, or other industrial raw materials will be preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to understand customer requirements and provide effective commercial solutions.
Good analytical skills with knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP software.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings, plant visits, and business development activities.
A valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
