Executive Assistant to Director (Business Operations)

Company: Guddu Jewellery Palace (GJP) by Preeti Jewellers(Formely Preeti Jewellers)

Location: Mullanpur Garibdass (New Chandigarh), Punjab

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)

About the Company

Established in 1995, Guddu Jewellery Palace (GJP) by Preeti Jewellers is a growing jewellery retail business specializing in Gold, Diamond, Silver Jewellery, and Certified Gemstones. We are transforming from a traditional family business into a professionally managed, technology-driven organization focused on customer experience, systems, and operational excellence.

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and execution-oriented Executive Assistant who can work directly with the Director and help drive business growth.

Job Summary

This is much more than a routine Executive Assistant role. You will work closely with the Director to coordinate projects, manage daily operations, organize meetings, calendar management, follow up on pending work, coordiante and communicate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure that important business initiatives move forward efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Director's schedule, meetings, and appointments.
Prepare meeting agendas and maintain Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
Follow up with departments to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Coordinate ongoing business projects such as website, mobile app, showroom renovation, CRM implementation, and digital catalogue.
Communicate with vendors, consultants, software providers, and service partners.
Prepare reports, presentations, documents, and business correspondence.
Maintain organized records using Google Workspace.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-ups.
Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and business processes.
Manage and organize digital files, reports, and documentation.
Support LinkedIn Company Page updates and employer branding initiatives.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (Punjabi is an advantage).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent follow-up and coordination abilities.
Professional email writing and documentation and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT for productivity.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline.
BBA, B.Com, MBA, or Business Administration graduates will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or Administrative Executive.
