Urgent Hiring : Procurement Executive – Civil (Construction)
We are looking for a Procurement Executive – Civil with hands-on experience in construction/project procurement to join our growing team.
Location: Chennai ( Neelankari)
Experience: 5- 9 Years
Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the site team for daily material requirements and update procurement plans accordingly.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database and product price lists in SAP.
- Create and manage purchase orders, quotations, and invoices using SAP/ERP systems.
- Conduct market surveys to track pricing trends, material availability, and identify reliable vendors.
- Prepare detailed rate comparisons and procurement reports for management review.
- Follow up with vendors for quotations, timely material delivery, and proper documentation.
- Handle procurement of irrigation and construction materials, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
- Maintain organized records of procurement transactions and documentation in SAP.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience in SAP (MM module preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
- Experience in handling irrigation and construction materials
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site, store, and accounts teams
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in civil engineering
