Full job description

An Echo/TMT (Echocardiography and Treadmill Test) technician performs non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, monitors patient vital signs, and assists cardiologists in evaluating heart function.

Patient Preparation and Care

Explain the ECHO and TMT procedures clearly to patients to ease anxiety.
Prepare and position patients, which includes attaching ECG electrodes for treadmill stress tests and echocardiograms.
Monitor patient vital signs—such as heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG rhythms—continuously during stress tests.
Watch for signs of patient distress or discomfort and stop the test or notify a doctor immediately if needed.

Testing and Operation

Conduct 2D Echocardiograms and related ultrasound studies to capture clear images of heart structures.
Operate the treadmill testing equipment according to standardized clinical protocols.
Ensure proper calibration, operation, and basic maintenance of ultrasound and cardiac monitoring machines.
Record, store, and label digital diagnostic images accurately.

Reporting and Collaboration

Compile preliminary test data and findings for review by attending cardiologists.
Highlight critical or abnormal test results to the medical staff right away.
Maintain detailed logs, patient records, and hospital documentation.
Adhere to strict hospital safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.

Pay: ₹10,638.30 - ₹32,693.08 per month
