Position: Social Media Marketer

Why this role exists

Buyers form a view of Document360 before they ever reach our website, from a technical writer's LinkedIn post, an X thread comparing documentation tools, or a Facebook group debate about migrating a knowledge base.

Or they skip all of it and ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini which platform to pick. The two are connected: LinkedIn, X, and Facebook are where our category gets discussed in public, and public discussion is what large language models read, learn from, and repeat.

We are hiring someone to run social as a growth channel with two connected outcomes: make Document360 the brand buyers already recognize, and the brand AI assistants name first.

The outcomes you own

Audience growth on LinkedIn, X, Facebook and other social channel. Own strategy, calendar, and daily publishing with a distinct approach per platform rather than the same post everywhere. Build a repeatable format system, grow followers and engagement against quarterly targets, and manage the social inbox with clear response times.
Content worth stopping for. Be the source of original ideas. Generate and script reels and short form video (product moments, documentation tips, category commentary, customer stories, trend led formats), develop original post concepts (carousels, opinion posts, comparison breakdowns, teardowns, polls, visual explainers), and adapt long form assets natively per platform.
AI assistants recommend Document360. Baseline how we appear in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot answers for high intent category questions, then improve it quarter over quarter. Build the public footprint that shapes those answers through credible commentary on LinkedIn and X, genuinely useful contributions on Reddit and Quora, and content structured to be quotable and citable. Stay current on how generative engines source and cite information.
Highest share of voice in our category. Set a baseline against named competitors and report movement monthly. Run always on listening to catch category conversations, competitor moves, and buying intent threads while they are still live, and track sentiment and mention quality alongside volume.
Our people become visible voices. Run employee advocacy that gets product, support, and engineering experts posting consistently, ghostwrite for leadership and internal experts, and coordinate launch and campaign moments with Product Marketing, Content, SEO, Demand Generation, and Support.
Decisions backed by numbers. Own the dashboard (share of voice, follower and engagement growth, video views and retention, referral traffic, AI mention rate, pipeline contribution), report to leadership on a fixed cadence, and use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot daily to compress research to published, building prompt libraries the wider team can reuse.

What we are looking for

3+ years owning social media for a B2B SaaS, developer tools, or technology brand. Channels you grew and numbers you moved.
Real fluency on LinkedIn, X, and Facebook, plus proven ability to take reels and short form ideas from concept to script to published.
Daily hands-on use of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, strong prompting instincts, and the judgment to know when an AI draft is not good enough to publish.
A working understanding of how LLMs source and cite information, and genuine interest in generative engine optimization.
Sharp written English, comfort with analytics and social listening tools, and high ownership in a wide scope role.
