Finance Manager

Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Coimbatore
Reporting To: Director
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and oversee the organization's finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, supervising the accounts team, and supporting business decision-making through effective financial planning and reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes through the Team Leaders and Accounts Team.
Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, customer collections, and account reconciliations.
Review financial transactions and maintain accuracy in accounting records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Budgeting & Reporting

Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Present financial reports and management information to senior leadership.
Monitor working capital and ensure efficient utilization of company resources.

Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
Strengthen internal financial controls and process improvements.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and accounts team.
Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of financial activities.
Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial processes and resolve operational issues.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

8–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts functions.
Experience in managing finance teams and overseeing end-to-end accounting operations.
Educational qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automation, or industrial sectors.
Exposure to budgeting, financial planning, and audit coordination.
