Role Description The Senior SEO Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The person in this role will lead the overall SEO strategy, including planning and executing on-page and off-page initiatives to increase organic visibility and traffic for EazyGrad’s digital properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, driving keyword research, managing link-building campaigns, and collaborating with content, product, and marketing teams to optimize landing pages and blog content. The Senior SEO Manager will analyze web analytics data, monitor performance against KPIs, prepare reports and insights for leadership, and continuously test and refine SEO tactics. This role will also mentor junior team members, ensure adherence to SEO best practices, and stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in technical and content-focused SEO audits, with the ability to identify issues and recommend clear, actionable improvements.
Advanced skills in keyword research and search intent analysis, including building and maintaining keyword maps for key pages and content clusters.
Proven experience planning and executing ethical link-building and off-page SEO strategies to improve domain authority and rankings.
Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to track performance and derive insights.
Solid understanding of digital marketing and broader marketing principles, including how SEO integrates with content, paid media, and brand positioning.
Demonstrated ability to lead SEO projects end-to-end, prioritize initiatives, and work cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in B2C or edtech, with a track record of improving organic traffic and conversions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience managing or mentoring
