Job Title: Safety Engineer

Company: INTERMARC
Location: Delhi (Travel as per project requirements)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

INTERMARC is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor site safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client requirements.
Prepare safety reports, incident reports, and corrective action plans.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.
Coordinate with project teams to maintain safe work practices.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at project sites.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Safety Management.
3–5 years of experience in construction, interior fit-out, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
Experience working on commercial, corporate, or government projects.
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
