THE ROLE
As the Business Development & Marketing Manager for Delhi NCR & North India, you will own your regional market end-to-end — from building a robust network of educational consultants and agents to forging direct relationships with premium K-12 schools, executing targeted marketing campaigns, and taking full accountability of your regional admissions pipeline. Reporting directly to the National Director, this is a relationship-driven, marketing-led role with significant scope for professional growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development — Agent & Consultant Network
› Identify, onboard and develop a strong network of educational consultants and counselling centres across Delhi NCR and key cities in the region
› Build productive, long-term relationships with agents — from contracting and onboarding to ongoing support and performance reviews
› Conduct regular partner meetings and briefing sessions to ensure the network is equipped to represent University of Mumbai programmes effectively
› Provide partners with comprehensive marketing support — collaterals, digital assets and campaign toolkits targeted at Grade 11 and 12 students
› Ensure all partner contracts are in place and current; maintain a structured, up-to-date partner database
› Track partner performance against enrolment targets and drive accountability through regular reviews
▌ Marketing — K-12 School Outreach & Institutional Partnerships
› Build a direct network of premium K-12 schools in Delhi NCR; establish working relationships with principals, career counsellors and college counselling coordinators
› Present University of Mumbai's new-age, career-focused graduation programmes as aspirational choices for Grade 11 and 12 students
› Organise and lead career guidance presentations, workshops and Q&A sessions at schools for student and parent audiences
› Represent Future Varsity at education fairs, school events and career forums across the region
› Manage all school partnership agreements, documentation and renewal timelines
› Maintain regular communication with school counsellors to stay top-of-mind during the annual admissions season
▌ Marketing — Digital & Social Media
› Manage social media marketing for the regional partner network — coordinating content and activating platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn to reach the target student segment
› Support partners in creating and sharing digital content that drives student enquiries and engagement
› Monitor digital campaign performance; use analytics to assess reach, engagement and lead quality
› Leverage Generative AI tools to create high-quality presentations, content, reports and communications efficiently
▌ Admissions Pipeline & Business Analytics
› Take full ownership of the regional admissions pipeline — from lead generation through partner and school networks to enquiry, counselling, application and final enrolment
› Set and track monthly enrolment targets in coordination with the National Director
› Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, pipeline status and conversions in CRM and Excel-based systems
› Prepare and present regular analytical reports, projections and regional MIS to the National Director
› Manage regional marketing budgets; track expenditure and report on ROI
› Submit timely daily and weekly activity reports covering meetings, school visits, partner interactions and pipeline updates
▌ Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
› Work closely with internal teams — Marketing, Academic Counselling, Admissions, Operations, Finance and HR — for smooth student onboarding
› Coordinate with the central marketing team to ensure localised campaign materials are deployed ahead of each admissions cycle
› Share regional market insights and partner feedback in national BD strategy reviews
› Act as the primary regional point of contact for all institutional partners
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
✔ MBA from a recognised institution — mandatory qualification for this role
✔ 3–7 years of experience in business development, marketing or institutional partnerships — preferably in education, EdTech or professional services
✔ Strong understanding of the K-12 school ecosystem and how school counselling departments engage with universities
✔ Demonstrated ability to build and manage partner or channel networks with measurable outcomes
✔ Excellent communication and presentation skills — confident in front of students, parents, school faculty and institutional leadership
✔ Highly social and personable, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly in new professional settings
✔ Social media savvy — practical experience with WhatsApp outreach, Instagram campaigns and digital lead generation for a young adult audience
✔ Proficient in MS Excel for pipeline management, data analysis and reporting
✔ Active user of Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, etc.) to drive productivity and output quality
✔ Comfortable with regular field engagement — meeting school counsellors, attending education events and visiting partners within Delhi NCR and nearby cities
✔ Self-motivated, organised and target-driven — able to manage multiple relationships independently
✔ Available to join immediately or at short notice — preference given to candidates who can start quickly
