The one-line version
Turn raw footage and ideas into calm, cinematic, premium video that looks like nothing else in the dating and relationship space.

Why this role exists
TheBroThing is a premium coaching brand for adult Indian men. Our content is the opposite of loud creator content: composed, documentary in feel, dark and warm in palette, built to be watched rather than swiped past. We are scaling long-form YouTube and short-form output, and we need an editor with a cinematographer's eye to own both the shoot and the finish.

What you will be accountable for (your first year)

Owning the edit of our weekly long-form videos and turning them around on schedule, at a cinematic, documentary-grade standard.
Producing a steady run of Shorts and Instagram reels each week that hold the same calm, premium register (no rapid-flash, no shouty text).
Color grading every video in DaVinci Resolve so the whole library shares one consistent dark-and-warm look.
Building clean, restrained motion and titles in After Effects (lower-thirds, type, subtle movement) that fit a premium brand.
On studio days, setting up cameras and lighting and capturing clean, well-framed, well-lit footage so every edit starts from strong material.

What you will actually do day to day
Edit long-form and short-form. Grade and finish. Build light motion graphics. Take direction fast in reviews. On your two studio days, set up the camera and lighting and shoot. The rest of the week you work remotely on your own schedule, as long as deliveries land on time.

Must-haves

Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and lower-thirds.
DaVinci Resolve for color grading.
Knows how to set up cameras and has strong, practical knowledge of lighting.
A reel or portfolio that shows a real sense of pacing and story, not just fast cuts.
Solid instincts for audio: clean dialogue, sensible music, good levels.
Reliable and communicative, comfortable working async, and able to be at our Delhi studio two days a week.

Nice-to-haves

You have edited for established YouTubers or creators.
You have done documentary-style or long-form narrative editing.
Sound design, an eye for thumbnails, or experience with premium or dark brand aesthetics.

The standard
We are building the most premium voice in our category, and the look of the content has to match that. The bar on taste is high, the feedback is direct, and the work is judged on whether it looks right, not on how long it took. In return, you own the visual identity of a brand that wants to be best-in-class.

Compensation and terms
₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per month base. Hybrid: two days at our Delhi studio, the rest remote.
