Position: Chef – Chairperson’s Residence
Location: Delhi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5+ years, preferably with experience in a 5-star hotel

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and professional Chef to manage the day-to-day cooking requirements at the Chairperson’s residence. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a reputed 5-star hotel and should be capable of preparing high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh, high-quality meals for the family members as per their preferences and dietary requirements.
Plan daily menus and suggest new dishes and meal options.
Prepare a variety of cuisines, including Indian, Continental, and other international cuisines as required.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
Ensure proper food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and safe food-handling practices.
Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate the purchase of fresh ingredients and other supplies.
Ensure proper storage and usage of food items to minimise wastage.
Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure the kitchen is organised and well maintained.
Accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
Prepare meals for guests and small private gatherings when required.
Maintain discretion and professionalism while working in a private residence.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience.
Experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury hotel, premium restaurant, or high-end private residence preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisine; knowledge of additional international cuisines will be an advantage.
Excellent understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
Ability to plan menus and manage kitchen supplies independently.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Well-groomed, punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
Must be comfortable working in a private residence and maintaining confidentiality.
