## Job Summary
The Gym Instructor is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the hotel's fitness center. The role involves assisting guests with fitness equipment, conducting exercise sessions, promoting health and wellness, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
## Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests to the fitness center and provide professional assistance with gym equipment and facilities.
* Conduct fitness assessments and recommend suitable exercise programs based on guests' fitness goals and health conditions.
* Demonstrate the proper use of fitness equipment and ensure safe exercise practices.
* Provide one-on-one personal training sessions and group fitness classes, where applicable.
* Monitor guests during workouts to ensure safety and offer guidance on correct exercise techniques.
* Inspect and maintain gym equipment, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
* Ensure the fitness center is clean, organized, and fully stocked with towels, water, and other guest amenities.
* Promote the hotel's wellness programs, personal training services, and fitness memberships.
* Maintain accurate records of guest sessions, equipment inspections, and daily operational activities.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
* Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies by administering first aid or CPR, if certified.
* Coordinate with the Spa, Recreation, and Front Office teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
## Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Fitness Training, or a related field.
* Certified Fitness Trainer/Gym Instructor from a recognized institution.
* Valid First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
## Experience
* 1–3 years of experience as a Gym Instructor, Fitness Trainer, or Personal Trainer.
* Experience in a hotel, resort, fitness club, or wellness center is preferred.
## Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility programs.
* Excellent communication and motivational skills.
* Ability to design personalized fitness programs.
* Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of fitness equipment maintenance and safety standards.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
## Preferred Competencies
* Professional grooming and presentation.
* Positive attitude with a passion for health and fitness.
* Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of nutrition and wellness principles is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹19,037.29 - ₹33,982.58 per month
