Job Opening: Stenographer

Organization: Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies invites applications from eligible and competent candidates for the position of Stenographer.

Position

Stenographer

Key Responsibilities

Taking dictation in shorthand and transcribing it accurately.
Preparing official letters, notices, minutes, reports, and legal documents.
Assisting senior officials in correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
Handling confidential documents and administrative files.
Supporting legal and administrative documentation work as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Proficiency in English/Hindi shorthand and typing.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office procedures.
Strong drafting and communication skills.
Relevant experience in an educational institution, legal office, or administrative setup will be preferred.

Desired Experience

Experience in legal drafting and preparation of official/legal correspondence.
Candidates who have worked under an Advocate/Law Firm/Legal Consultant will be given preference.
Familiarity with court-related documentation, agreements, notices, affidavits, and legal records will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

Excellent shorthand and typing accuracy.
Legal and official drafting ability.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
