Purchase Executive / Coordinator

About us

We are a Kochi-based automation company specialising in the design and manufacturing of Special Purpose Machines (SPM). As we expand our operations, we are looking for a proactive and organised Purchase Coordinator to join our procurement team and ensure the smooth flow of materials and supplies across our projects.

Role summary

You will be the backbone of our procurement process — sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, tracking orders, and keeping our purchasing records accurate and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in procurement within a fast-growing automation industry.

What you will do

Source and procure raw materials, mechanical components, electrical parts, and consumables required for SPM manufacturing.
Identify and onboard new vendors; maintain and update the approved vendor database.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and coordinate vendor negotiations to get the best value.
Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs); follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with the stores, production, and accounts teams to align procurement with project timelines.
Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and inventory logs accurately using MS Excel.
Monitor stock levels and raise indent requests to avoid material shortages.
Handle documentation related to deliveries, invoices, and supplier correspondence.

What we are looking for

Any degree — B.Com, BBA, BSc, BA, or equivalent.
0–2 years of experience; freshers with the right attitude are welcome.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel — data entry, tracking sheets, basic formulas.
Basic understanding of vendor negotiation and procurement processes.
Familiarity with inventory management and stock control is a plus.
Good communication skills in both Malayalam and English (verbal and written).
Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple follow-ups simultaneously.
Candidates residing in Kochi / Ernakulam / Thrissur / Alappuzha / Idukki / Kottayam preferred.
