Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the school store. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, stock planning, vendor coordination, material issuance, record maintenance, and ensuring the timely availability of all required items for smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of all stock, inventory, and store transactions.
Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered by vendors.
Issue stationery, housekeeping materials, uniforms, sports equipment, and other items as per approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests before inventory reaches minimum levels.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.
Maintain inward and outward registers, stock ledgers, and ERP inventory records.
Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors for timely material delivery.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.
Prepare monthly inventory reports and submit them to the management.
Monitor slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete stock and recommend corrective action.
Ensure compliance with school policies regarding inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.

Required Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
Diploma or certification in Store Management, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain is an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Store Manager, Store Incharge, or Inventory Executive.
Experience in a school, hospital, hospitality, or institutional setup will be preferred.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management.
Experience with ERP/Tally/MS Excel.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Vendor coordination and material handling.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Salary

As per company norms and experience.
