Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Back End Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Back End Developer at Drongo AI, you will play a key role in developing high quality, efficient and maintainable applications, APIs and databases. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in back end development principles, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop server-side applications and APIs.
Implement and maintain SQL and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with frameworks such as Django, Node.js, Express, and Go.
Optimise application performance and scalability through efficient database design and query optimization.
Implement automated tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the back end systems.
Deploy and maintain applications on edge or cloud platforms to ensure seamless performance.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in back end development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in back end development.
Proficiency in at least one of the following back end frameworks/languages: Django, Node.js, Express, or Go.
Strong understanding of back end development principles, including database design, RESTful APIs, and server-side architecture.
Must have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SOA/microservices architecture.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
