Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented E-Commerce Head to lead and manage our overall e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving online sales, managing marketplaces and D2C channels, developing growth strategies, and ensuring smooth day-to-day e-commerce operations.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of major e-commerce marketplaces, digital sales, performance marketing, catalog management, inventory planning, and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall e-commerce sales and growth strategy.
Manage and grow business across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Shopify/D2C and other relevant marketplaces.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
Monitor marketplace performance, rankings, conversion rates, traffic, and customer behavior.
Manage product listings, cataloging, pricing, promotions, offers, and content optimization.
Plan and execute marketplace promotional campaigns and seasonal sales.
Coordinate with the Digital Marketing/Performance Marketing team to improve traffic and ROAS.
Monitor and optimize advertising spend, sales contribution, CAC, ROAS and overall marketing ROI.
Analyze sales data and prepare regular MIS, dashboards and business performance reports.
Work closely with inventory, warehouse, operations, finance and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize stock-outs, excess inventory and returns.
Monitor customer reviews, ratings, complaints, cancellations and returns, and develop corrective actions.
Identify new marketplaces, online channels and business opportunities for expansion.
Manage relationships and negotiations with marketplace representatives, agencies and external partners.
Ensure marketplace policies, commercial terms, pricing and operational requirements are properly managed.
Lead and mentor the e-commerce team and ensure achievement of individual and team KPIs.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new products, pricing opportunities and market trends.
Continuously improve the customer experience and overall online brand presence.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of E-Commerce & Marketplace Management.
Hands-on experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Shopify or similar platforms.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Good knowledge of performance marketing and marketplace advertising.
Excellent understanding of pricing, promotions and product catalog management.
Strong knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and e-commerce analytics.
Excellent communication, negotiation and team-management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong commercial and business understanding.
Result-oriented approach with a focus on revenue and profitability.

Qualification

MBA / PGDM in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Management or a related field preferred.
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
