This role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted availability of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM) and Chemicals through planning, supplier coordination, inventory management, PepsiCo coordination and procurement support while driving cost optimization and business continuity.
1. Procurement Planning & Material Availability
- Plan procurement requirements for Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Chemicals based on Annual Operating Plan (AOP), production plans, and inventory levels.
- Prepare rolling procurement plans and coordinate with suppliers to align production schedules with organizational requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.

2. PepsiCo Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with PepsiCo on all ongoing matters related to Raw Material and Packaging Material procurement.
- Obtain necessary approvals for suppliers, materials, specifications, and procurement-related activities.
- Support new vendor development initiatives in collaboration with PepsiCo.
- Track supplier re-approval timelines and ensure timely completion of compliance requirements.
Coordinate cost-saving initiatives and monitor implementation progress.

3. Supplier & Inventory Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply, quality, and competitive commercial terms.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and reduce procurement risk.
- Ensure timely dispatch of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials to manufacturing plants by coordinating transportation and contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
Support inventory optimization while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.

4. Contracts, Costing & MIS
- Prepare procurement MIS reports for management review.
- Ensure timely creation and maintenance of procurement contracts in SAP for materials including CO₂, Cans, Closures, RGB, Laminates, Sleeves, and other assigned categories.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation accurately.
- Support cost analysis, budgeting exercises, and procurement reporting.
Assist in tracking procurement performance and identifying opportunities for cost optimization

5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Governance
- Collaborate effectively with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of procurement negotiations, commercial information, supplier agreements, and company documents.
- Demonstrate teamwork by proactively supporting colleagues and sharing relevant knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain professional conduct during supplier interactions, internal meetings, and cross-functional discussions.
Contribute towards achieving common organizational objectives through effective coordination and communication.

Qualifaction: MBA (Preferred)
Experience:
- 12-15 Years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of costing, negotiation, and price analysis.
