JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Team Leader to oversee and enhance our IT department's operations. The IT Team Leader will play a pivotal role in setting goals and creating a vision for the Information Technology department, processing, storing, transmitting, and protecting information within the organization. They will lead a team of IT professionals in developing software, managing, and maintaining the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of IT processes, and safeguarding organizational information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Define and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational vision and goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional technical teams (developers, testers, support).
- Establish team KPIs, monitor project progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead a team of .NET developers, QA engineers, and support personnel.
- Assign, track, and evaluate team tasks and project outcomes.
- Conduct regular team reviews, provide mentorship, and foster continuous learning.
Software Development Oversight:
- Supervise end-to-end development of web and Windows applications using .NET (C#, MVC, Web API, WCF) and .Net Core.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices and secure coding standards.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers for technical decision-making.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Oversee manual and automation testing efforts.
- Ensure defect tracking, unit testing, integration testing, and timely release cycles.
- Coordinate quality audits and maintain documentation.
IT Support & Application Maintenance:
- Monitor application support tickets, service SLAs, and client issue resolution.
- Oversee deployments on cloud/physical servers (Azure, IIS).
- Implement patching, upgrades, and installer packages.
IT Security & Risk Management:
- Ensure secure coding, data privacy compliance, and IT infrastructure integrity.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for internal systems and client-facing platforms.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as the IT liaison with internal departments, clients, and senior leadership.
- Drive clear communication across project stakeholders and report on progress and challenges.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web and desktop applications using .NET technologies
- Work on N-Tier and MVC architectures using the latest .NET Frameworks (3.5 to 4.7.2)
- Develop and integrate complex WCF services, Web APIs, and Windows Services
- Write optimized, reusable, and secure C# code, and advanced SQL queries/stored procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, and product teams
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions
- Manage deployment on cloud VMs and physical servers, including IIS configuration
- Mentor junior developers, review their code, and help troubleshoot complex issues
- Ensure best practices in development, testing, documentation, and deployment
- Handle client interactions via email, teleconferences, or demo sessions
- Person will work within the team and will be responsible for independently working on Microsoft.net / MVC – web as well as window-based project.
- Technical/ programming support of .Net/MVC/MSSQL SERVER/ WCF services-based application.
