A Manufacturing Company is looking for a dedicated and responsible Admin and Logistics Executive for its Head Office in Guwahati, Assam

Job Description:

Take Rates on Email / WhatsApp / for transportation to all across India.
Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
Placing trucks at the plant for the loading of Finished Goods
Track trucks using Freight Tiger or similar apps
Update all vehicle movement in Google sheets twice daily
Check all truck documents such as RC, Fitness Certificate, License, All details on MPARVIHAN APP and keep records.
Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
Maintaining records of transporters, transportation rates, transporter documents, driver’s details etc.
Handle insurance declarations and ensure accuracy by cross-verifying declared values with internal records.
Maintain and update Payment follow up excel sheets
Checking portals like GeM, Ireps etc for Government tenders.
Prepare and submit tender documents, quotations, and techno-commercial proposals in compliance with requirements.
Maintain records of all current and upcoming Tenders.
Have good knowledge of vehicle tracking, driver background checking, RC checking, license checking, interstate movement regulations etc.
Should have good negotiating skills for finalizing rates with transporters or source alternative options.

Candidate Requirement Specifications:

Prior working experience from the transport industry is mandatory
Proficient in MS Office packages, should be able to create reports, use google sheets etc.
Excellent Communication skills (speaking and writing)
Well-versed with Freight Tiger App and also be able to use it properly.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role is a must.
In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and the role of transporters.
Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
