Full job description

Job Title: Assistant AccountantAbout the Role

Raga on the Ganges, a premier resort located in Byasi, Rishikesh, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting fundamentals who is ready to manage day-to-day financial transactions in a hospitality environment.

This is a full-time, residential position requiring an immediate joiner.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily voucher making (Receipt, Payment, Journal, and Contra vouchers).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Assist in bank reconciliation statements and cash flow monitoring.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial transactions and bills.
Support the senior management team with monthly closing and basic tax compliances.

Requirements & Skills

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in core accounting (Hospitality/Resort background is a major plus).
Software Expertise: Strong, hands-on proficiency in Tally and MS Office (especially Excel).
Core Skills: Expert knowledge of voucher making, general ledger book keeping, and accounting principles.
Joining Availability: Immediate joiners only.
