Chartered Accountant with knowledge in the field of statutory Audits and Tax Audits

6 months to 1 years of experience

Required Candidate Profile:

B.com Graduates/CA/Semi-quialfied with basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts
0-1 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting
Knowledge of Basic Accounting and Book Keeping
Good written and oral communication skills
Robust Logical and Reasoning skills
Interest in business and commerciality
Ability to work Affectively in a team
Strong drive to take initiatives and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
Excellent Analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal and team skills
Willingness to travel, when necessary
Ability to multitask on multiple engagements

Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of our Assurance Team, you will be carrying out routine substantive and controls-based procedures from the India office and supporting the various Global client serving assurance teams mostly based in the Americas & European countries.
We are looking for individuals with knowledge and understanding of accounting and assurance concepts. The incumbent gets an excellent opportunity to work virtually or directly with the engagement teams across Americas and Europe and develop knowledge of international accounting and assurance principles.
Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific review procedures as defined by the engagement teams
Recognize potential review issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the immediate supervisor
Deliver work in line with designated methodology, project plan or process in line with Firm’s standards
Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with the team members
Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to team requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with team contacts
Where appropriate, challenge procedures used in the past by team members and attempt to enhance review techniques
Compare efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement
Contribute ideas/opinions to the assurance teams and listen/respond to other team members’ views
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
