Immediately Hiring for – Accounts Manager (Real Estate)

Position: Accounts Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Industry: Real Estate
Reporting To: CEO
Location: Banjara Hills

Job Summary

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, effective cash flow management, and efficient accounting processes. The role requires strong experience in real estate accounting, project accounting, taxation, audits, and financial controls.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Monitor project-wise accounting and profitability for ongoing and completed real estate projects.
Review journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other applicable regulations.
Review and file statutory returns accurately and within prescribed timelines.
Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.
Stay updated on changes in taxation and accounting regulations affecting the real estate sector.

Audit & Internal Controls

Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits.
Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Monitor daily cash flow requirements and fund utilization.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
Coordinate with banks for loan disbursements, project finance, and banking transactions.
Manage vendor payments and customer collections efficiently.

Team Management

Lead and mentor the accounts team.
Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide training where required.
Ensure adherence to accounting processes and timelines.

MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare financial MIS reports for senior management.
Present financial insights, cost analysis, and variance reports.
Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
Professional certifications in accounting or taxation will be an added advantage.

Experience

6 to 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry.
Experience in project accounting, taxation, audits, and financial reporting.
