Position: House Manager

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on House Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of a private residence and support the day-to-day requirements of the household.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating household staff, managing vendors and expenses, overseeing maintenance, organizing travel and schedules, and ensuring the residence is always well-maintained and guest-ready.
1. Household Staff Management
- Supervise and coordinate household staff including cooks/chefs, drivers, housekeeping staff, etc.
- Prepare staff schedules, assign daily tasks, and ensure smooth coordination.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline.
- Identify training and upskilling requirements and coordinate training in areas such as housekeeping standards, flower arrangements, cooking techniques, and service etiquette.
2. Household Finance & Administration
- Maintain records of household expenses and petty cash.
- Track daily/monthly spending and ensure bills are paid on time.
- Maintain basic household records, including expenses, staff attendance, vendor contacts, and payments.
- Handle household-related payments responsibly and maintain proper documentation.
3. Vendor & Maintenance Management
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, technicians, and service providers.
- Manage repairs, deliveries, maintenance work, and AMC renewals.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues related to ACs, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other household requirements.
- Monitor the overall upkeep and functionality of the residence.
4. Household Operations & Inventory
- Ensure the house is adequately stocked with groceries, household supplies, toiletries, and other essentials.
- Monitor inventory levels and arrange timely purchases.
- Coordinate with the chef/cook for daily meal planning and menu requirements.
- Assist with meal planning and coordination during private gatherings and hosting.
5. Travel & Personal Logistics
- Coordinate packing and travel logistics for the family.
- Ensure luggage, essentials, documents, and other requirements are arranged well in advance.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments with stylists, hair and makeup artists, and other personal service providers.
- Maintain and manage daily schedules, reminders, and appointments.
6. Guest & Event Management
- Ensure the residence is clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
- Coordinate household staff during family gatherings and private events.
- Assist with hosting requirements and ensure smooth execution of guest-related arrangements.
7. Technology & Organization
- Use digital tools, applications, calendars, reminders, spreadsheets, and AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve organization and efficiency.
- Conduct basic online research and assist with planning, scheduling, and household-related requirements.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar household management role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good understanding of household operations and staff management.
- Comfortable handling petty cash, expenses, bills, and household budgets.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile applications, spreadsheets, digital calendars, and AI tools.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Telugu or Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Honest, trustworthy, discreet, and presentable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be proactive, hands-on, and capable of independently managing day-to-day household requirements.
- Must be based in Hyderabad and comfortable commuting daily.
