Role Overview
The Academic Head / Principal will be responsible for the overall academic excellence, day-to-day operations, parent engagement, staff management, admissions support, and implementation of the ACME Kids curriculum. The role requires a passionate educational leader who can build a high-quality preschool culture focused on child development and learning outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Preschool Principal, Academic Coordinator, Centre Head, or equivalent leadership role in an early childhood education setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Ensure effective delivery of Montessori and inquiry-based learning practices.
- Monitor children's developmental milestones and learning outcomes.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Develop and maintain age-appropriate lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.
- Ensure high standards of literacy, numeracy, life skills, and socio-emotional development.
- Conduct regular professional development sessions and workshops.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration among staff.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, child safety norms, and academic standards.
- Build strong relationships with parents and act as the primary academic point of contact.
- Conduct parent orientation programs, PTMs, workshops, and counselling sessions.
- Address parent concerns professionally and proactively.
- Share regular updates on children's progress and school initiatives.
School Operations
- Oversee daily functioning of the preschool.
- Ensure smooth scheduling of classes, events, and activities.
- Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with administrative and support teams to ensure efficient school operations.
Admissions & Business Growth
- Support the admissions process through parent interactions and school presentations.
- Conduct campus tours and counselling sessions for prospective parents.
- Contribute to enrolment growth through community outreach and engagement activities.
- Represent ACME Kids at events, workshops, and promotional programs.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high standards of classroom environment, learning materials, and child safety.
- Monitor academic quality through regular reviews and assessments.
- Ensure consistent implementation of ACME Kids' educational philosophy and standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education/Montessori Education preferred.
- Strong understanding of preschool pedagogy and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Telugu and Hindi will be an added advantage.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an energetic, warm, and visionary educational leader who believes that the preschool years are critical for building strong foundational skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of creating an enriching learning environment, mentoring teachers, engaging parents, and ensuring that every child at ACME Kids develops the confidence, curiosity, and skills needed for future success.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
