Full job description

The Site/Project Engineer is responsible for managing blower installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution activities at customer sites. The role acts as the primary technical liaison between the customer and the company during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Coordinate project activities from manufacturing completion to site handover.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely execution.
Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Installation & Commissioning

Supervise installation of centrifugal blowers, motors, ducts, foundations, and accessories.
Ensure alignment, leveling, and mechanical integrity during installation.
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Verify blower performance against design parameters.

Site Management

Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
Manage manpower, subcontractors, and site resources.

Technical Support

Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues during installation and operation.
Support customers with startup assistance and operational guidance.
Conduct training for customer maintenance and operations teams.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare commissioning reports, site visit reports, and project completion documents.
Maintain records of site observations and corrective actions.
Coordinate punch-point closure and project handover activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2–8 years of experience in industrial equipment installation, blower systems, fans, HVAC, blower, fan, rotating equipment,dust collectors, bag filters, ID/FD/SA Fans or heavy engineering industries or process industries.
Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.

Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of centrifugal blowers, motors, VFDs, ducts, and piping systems.
Knowledge of alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and electrical schematics.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Project planning and coordination abilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Successful project completion within schedule.
Installation and commissioning quality.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Reduction in commissioning issues and callbacks.
Site safety compliance and documentation accuracy.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
