SHOWROOM SALES EXECUTIVE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

About Lumen Atelier

Lumen Atelier is a premium architectural and decorative lighting solutions company based in Indore, specializing in high-quality lighting solutions for luxury residences, commercial spaces, hospitality projects, retail spaces and architectural developments.

We work with leading national and international lighting brands and provide end-to-end lighting solutions to architects, interior designers, consultants, developers and individual/HNI clients.

At Lumen Atelier, we combine premium lighting products, technical understanding, design sensibility and personalized client service to create lighting solutions that enhance architectural and interior spaces.

We are looking for a confident, presentable and result-oriented Showroom Sales Executive / Business Development Executive who can manage showroom enquiries while developing business relationships with architects, interior designers, developers and premium residential clients.

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for managing sales enquiries and developing new business opportunities.

The role involves understanding client requirements, presenting suitable architectural and decorative lighting products, preparing and sharing quotations, coordinating with the internal team, following up with prospects and converting enquiries into orders.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, relationship-building, presentation and sales skills, along with an interest in interiors, architecture and lighting.

Key Responsibilities

Handle showroom walk-ins and understand client requirements, budget and project needs.
Present and demonstrate architectural and decorative lighting products to clients.
Recommend suitable lighting solutions based on design, functionality and project requirements.
Handle enquiries from homeowners, HNI clients, architects, interior designers and contractors.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers and prospective clients.
Generate and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities and projects.
Conduct product presentations and showroom visits for architects and designers.
Develop strong knowledge of lighting products, specifications, applications and technical parameters.
Coordinate with the quotation/design team for proposals and quotations and follow up for closure.
Manage client follow-ups, quotations, samples, product selections and order confirmations.
Coordinate with internal teams for product availability, procurement, order processing and delivery.
Maintain lead, enquiry, quotation and sales records and achieve assigned sales targets.

Experience & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Showroom Sales.
Experience in Architectural/Decorative Lighting, Interior Products, Building Materials, Furniture, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Home Automation or other premium/luxury products will be preferred.
Candidates with experience handling architects, interior designers, contractors, developers or HNI clients will have an added advantage.
Graduate in any discipline; BBA, B.Com, B.Tech, Architecture, Interior Design, Sales & Marketing or Business Management preferred.
Relevant sales experience and client-handling ability will be given more importance than academic background.

Interest in lighting, architecture, interiors, design and premium products.
Ability to understand and explain product features and technical specifications.
Proactive approach towards lead generation and new business development.
Target-oriented with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the internal team.
