Job Description – Fabric Merchandiser

Position: Fabric Merchandiser

Location: [Location]

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fabric Merchandiser who can manage fabric sourcing, vendor coordination, order follow-ups, and product development. The candidate should also have knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Canva, and other graphic tools to create fabric presentations, catalogs, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Source fabrics and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Manage fabric procurement, sampling, and order execution.
Follow up on production timelines and ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain records of fabric inventory, costs, and purchase orders.
Coordinate with design, production, and sales teams.
Prepare fabric swatches, presentations, and product catalogs.
Create and edit product images using Photoshop, Canva, or similar software.
Develop visual content for marketing and promotional activities.
Monitor market trends, fabric innovations, and competitor activities.
Ensure quality standards and specifications are met.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of fabric sourcing, merchandising, and procurement.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and vendor management skills.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of textile and fabric manufacturing processes is preferred.

Qualification:

Graduate/Diploma in Textile, Fashion, Merchandising, or related field.
1–5 years of experience in Fabric Merchandising or a similar role.

Preferred Candidate:

Creative mindset with an eye for design and presentation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Experience in fabric manufacturing or textile industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,372.07 per month
