About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and smooth functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, civil, and other engineering systems across our restaurant outlets.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all restaurants remain operational with minimum downtime, while maintaining safety, quality, compliance, and cost efficiency. The role requires regular coordination with outlet managers, maintenance technicians, vendors, contractors, and the management team.
Key Responsibilities1. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all restaurant equipment and infrastructure.
- Attend to and resolve breakdowns related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, civil works, and other utilities.
- Ensure critical equipment is maintained to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain a preventive maintenance calendar and ensure timely completion across all outlets.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend permanent corrective measures.
2. Restaurant Engineering & Equipment
- Monitor the functioning and maintenance of:
- HVAC and air-conditioning systems
- Refrigerators, freezers and cold rooms
- Kitchen equipment
- Exhaust and ventilation systems
- Electrical panels, DG sets, UPS and related systems
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Water pumps and water supply systems
- Fire and safety-related equipment
- Lighting and electrical fixtures
- Civil and carpentry-related infrastructure
- Ensure kitchen and restaurant equipment is maintained as per operational requirements.
3. Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other technical staff.
- Allocate daily jobs and monitor completion within defined timelines.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, attendance, and performance of the maintenance team.
- Train team members on safe working practices and proper handling of equipment.
- Ensure adequate technical support is available during restaurant operating hours and critical periods.
4. Outlet Support
- Conduct regular inspection visits across all restaurants.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Managers to identify maintenance requirements and operational issues.
- Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and business impact.
- Ensure critical complaints are attended to immediately.
- Maintain proper records of outlet-wise maintenance activities.
5. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and AMC services.
- Obtain quotations and assist management in evaluating repair/replacement costs.
- Monitor vendor work quality, timelines, and service commitments.
- Ensure AMC services for critical equipment are renewed and executed on time.
- Verify completed work before recommending vendor bills for approval.
6. Cost Control & Inventory
- Monitor maintenance-related expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain adequate stock of essential spare parts, electrical items, plumbing materials, and consumables.
- Maintain records of spare parts issued and utilized.
- Evaluate whether equipment should be repaired or replaced based on cost and operational efficiency.
- Reduce unnecessary breakdown costs through effective preventive maintenance.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety standards and company policies.
- Regularly inspect electrical systems, fire safety equipment, gas lines, kitchen equipment, and other critical infrastructure.
- Immediately report potential safety hazards to management.
- Ensure technicians use appropriate PPE and follow safe working procedures.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies/vendors for statutory inspections and certifications wherever required.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain outlet-wise maintenance logs and breakdown records.
- Prepare regular reports covering:
- Preventive maintenance completed
- Breakdown incidents
- Pending maintenance issues
- Equipment downtime
- Spare parts consumption
- Vendor performance
- Maintenance expenditure
- Track repeated breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain an updated asset/equipment register for all outlets.

Qualification & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant maintenance/engineering experience, preferably in restaurants, hotels, QSRs, retail, commercial establishments, or similar multi-unit operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, or a relevant technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
- Experience in handling multiple outlets or locations will be highly preferred.
- Good vendor and contractor management skills.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and documentation.

Overall Objective of the Position

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
