Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Facility Management Trainer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to train, develop and evaluate frontline employees deployed across client sites.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering classroom and practical training on housekeeping, cleaning procedures, equipment and chemical handling, hygiene, safety, grooming, customer service, workplace discipline and company/client SOPs.

The candidate must be comfortable working with frontline/blue-collar employees and should be able to communicate effectively in multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Induction

Conduct induction and orientation training for all new joiners.
Train employees on company policies, workplace discipline, grooming and professional conduct.
Conduct refresher and corrective training for existing employees.
Ensure employees are trained before deployment wherever applicable.

2. Facility Management & Housekeeping Training

Train employees on housekeeping and facility management procedures.
Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, equipment and machinery usage.
Train employees on safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and materials.
Train employees on washroom, floor, common-area and deep-cleaning procedures.
Ensure adherence to company and client-specific SOPs.

3. Safety & Hygiene Training

Conduct training on workplace safety, PPE and safe working practices.
Educate employees on chemical handling, equipment safety and emergency procedures.
Promote hygiene, sanitation and safe housekeeping practices to employees residing at Workplace, Clients Location and Staff Accomodation.

4. Grooming & Soft Skills

Train employees on grooming, uniform standards and personal hygiene.
Conduct sessions on communication, customer service and workplace etiquette.
Train employees on professional behaviour and client interaction.

5. Practical & On-the-Job Training

Conduct practical demonstrations and on-the-job training at client sites.
Observe employees during work and provide corrective coaching.
Identify individual skill gaps and arrange additional training where required.

6. Assessment & Training Effectiveness

Conduct written and practical assessments after training.
Evaluate employee competency and readiness for deployment.
Maintain trainee attendance, assessment scores and training records.
Monitor post-training performance and recommend retraining where required.

7. Site Visits & Quality Improvement

Visit assigned client sites as per the training calendar.
Coordinate with Operations Managers and Site Supervisors to improve employee performance.
Support improvement of service quality through targeted training.

8. Training Documentation & MIS

Maintain daily training attendance and employee training records.
Prepare training reports, assessment reports and monthly MIS.
Maintain employee-wise training history and competency records.
Submit reports to the Trainer Manager/Training Head within the defined timelines.

9. Coordination

Coordinate with HR for new-joiner training requirements.
Coordinate with Operations regarding site-specific training requirements.
Work closely with Trainer Manager and other trainers to maintain consistent training standards.
Support the development and updating of training modules, checklists and SOPs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Facility Management, Housekeeping, Hospitality or Soft Services.
Previous experience as a Trainer, Senior Supervisor, Housekeeping Executive, Facility Executive or similar role preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of housekeeping and facility management operations.
Experience in training frontline/blue-collar employees is highly preferred.
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Facility Management or a related field will be an advantage.
Train-the-Trainer or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
