The Print Specialist will manage pre-press workflows, create high-quality print files, ensure accurate color reproduction, and oversee production scheduling and inventory management. Additionally, you will play a key role in resolving escalations, enhancing team coordination, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

OODIO is expanding its wedding album business to the UK, US, Canada, and Mexico, and we are searching for an experienced Print Specialist to join our Print Division. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining quality standards, and driving growth in our print business.

Timings

Monday to Saturday (9 AM - 7 PM)
This is an on-site role. There is no work-from-home option.

Hiring Process

Telephonic interview
Hiring Tests & HR Interview. This will be conducted at the Oodio Office Premises. The candidates will have to attend the hiring session from 10:30 AM-3 PM.

We are open to online if the candidate has a good internet connection and if he/she is out of Bangalore at that point in time.

Responsibilities

Execute pre-press workflows to ensure precise color reproduction in print.
Create and adjust print files for album covers, boxes, and cards in Photoshop per production standards.
Conduct quality checks for color accuracy, print damages, and production issues to maintain the highest quality.
Oversee production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of client orders.
Collaborate with client servicing, print, and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
Manage inventory for production materials and coordinate stock orders with administration.
Resolve client escalations in collaboration with the client servicing team to provide effective solutions.
Coordinate with logistics and packaging teams to ensure timely shipping of orders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Print, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a print specialist role or as a DTP Operator, preferably within the photography, printing, or editing industries.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in pre-press techniques and print production workflows.
Familiarity with printing processes, album production, and quality control standards.
Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and related post-production software.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Google Suite, Trello, and messaging apps.

Exceptional communication and team coordination skills.
A strong eye for colors, detail, and a very high standard for quality.
Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences.
Outstanding organizational, time management, and order-tracking ability.
High degree of personal credibility, initiative, ownership, responsibility, and motivation.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and any local languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi) is preferred.
