Educational Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field is required.
A master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA) is often preferred for deeper knowledge and leadership capabilities.
Years of Experience
10–15+ years of experience in project management, supply chain management, and/or operations.
5–7+ years in a leadership role, such as a Project Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or Operations Manager.
Prior experience in roles such as Supply Chain Planner, Project Manager, Logistics Manager, or Operations Manager with hands-on experience managing both projects and supply chain operations.
Position Summary
- The Manager - Supply Chain Management (SCM) sourcing & procurement - Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of electric vehicle (EV) and Sustainability Motors.
- This role combines project management expertise with supply chain optimization to ensure the successful development and deployment of innovative products.
- The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- This position is pivotal in driving the organization's transition to sustainable automotive technologies while maintaining a robust and efficient supply chain.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Management (EV Projects & Sustainable Motors):
- Plan, execute, and monitor EV and Sustainable Motors projects from concept to production.
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Quality Assurance, to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the project is executed according to the plan, managing tasks and timelines.
- Track progress, handle changes, mitigate risks, and ensure quality control.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed and finalize the project.
2. Liaison with Partners:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Partners to understand requirements, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source components, resolve technical issues, and manage timelines for prototype and production builds.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Drive supplier involvement in the prototype development process to meet quality and performance standards.
- Work with RFQ for projects for both prototype and Production with cost effective.
- Costing and negotiation for the projects with partners to meet the target cost.
3. Prototype Development:
- Oversee component procurement and prototype builds for EV systems and Sustainable Motors.
- Ensure the timely delivery of prototypes that meet customer specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate prototypes and resolve design or manufacturing issues.
4. Supply Chain Management (SCM):
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies for sourcing, procurement, and logistics to support EV and Sustainable Motors projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and manage the supply chain for just-in-time (JIT) production.
- Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
5. Budget and Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement, production, and logistics without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering team to find opportunities to reduce the product cost.
- Negotiation to optimize the product cost with partners.
6. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide Supply chain team and Quality team members.
- Foster collaboration across departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing feedback, and encouraging innovation.
7. Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular updates to management on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
- Prepare detailed reports on supply chain performance, cost savings, and project milestones.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including suppliers, and internal teams.
8. Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure that all projects and supply chain activities adhere to Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015.
- Collaborate with quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ensuring the Product Quality meets the specifications.
Tools & Technical Requirements:
1. Tools:
- Project Management Tools: odoo and ARENA.
- SCM Tools: SAP (MM/PP/SD modules), Oracle SCM Cloud, or similar ERP systems.
- Data Analysis Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Excel (advanced), or similar.
- Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence.
2. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle components (battery systems, motors, inverters) and Sustainable Motors technologies.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and JIT methodologies.
- Electrical Motor Components sourcing & Procurement if Preferable
- Electronics Components part procurement - Due to our SMT Machine Installation
- Tactical buy overview Knowledge.
- Import Material Sourcing & Purchase end to end process.
3. Standards and Regulations:
- Expertise in compliance with automotive industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of sustainable practices for EV manufacturing and supply chain operations.
4. Communication and Leadership:
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive performance.

- Supply Chain Optimization: Overseeing supply chain processes and improvements.
- Resource & Budget Management: Allocating resources and managing budgets for projects and supply chain operations.
- Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Risk & Compliance: Identifying risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Reporting progress and managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
