Role Summary
The Project Implementer is responsible for successful execution of customer projects involving Tally customizations, integrations, testing, deployment, user training, and go-live support. The role ensures that approved project requirements are delivered accurately, within timelines, and with high customer satisfaction. The position acts as a bridge between customers, developers, Relationship Managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation from UAT to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Testing & Validation
· Test developed customizations and integrations as per approved project documents, BRD, SOW, or functional requirements.
· Perform functional testing, scenario testing, and UAT readiness checks.
· Validate bug fixes, enhancements, and revisions before customer deployment.
· Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and agreed scope.
Coordination & Issue Resolution
· Coordinate with developers to resolve bugs, errors, and required changes.
· Work closely with Relationship Managers for customer communication, approvals, and escalations whenever required.
· Follow up on pending actions to ensure timely project closure.
· Maintain effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Implementation
· Execute project implementations primarily through remote support.
· Visit customer locations when on-site implementation, training, or troubleshooting is required.
· Configure solution environment, deploy approved builds, and complete go-live activities.
· Ensure data integrity and implementation readiness before production deployment.
Customer Training & Support
· Conduct end-user training sessions after implementation.
· Guide customers on process usage, reports, workflows, and best practices.
· Address customer queries, clarifications, and feedback professionally.
· Provide post-go-live handholding support for smooth adoption.
Reporting & Documentation
· Update implementation progress, project status, and risks internally.
· Maintain testing records, deployment notes, issue logs, and completion reports.
· Follow internal SOPs, documentation standards, and governance processes.
· Support management with implementation reports and project insights.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally accounting software.
- Understanding of accounting, inventory, GST.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Strong learning attitude and positive approach toward new systems/processes.
- Basic troubleshooting and logical thinking ability.
- Attention to detail for testing and validation work.
- Good coordination skills to work with developers, customers, and internal teams.
- Customer-friendly attitude and professional behavior.
- Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, email, internet, file handling).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and documentation tools.
- Ability to conduct basic user training after guidance.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
- Ability to work under deadlines and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Strong Understanding of accounting, inventory, GST, payroll, or MIS processes.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, data exchange, and system-to-system communication.
- Understanding of import/export of data through Excel, CSV, XML, or JSON files.
- Basic SQL / database knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Training and presentation skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, IT, or related field.
- Preferred: B.Com, BBA, BAF, BCA, BSc IT, or any graduate with TallyPrime / Accounting certification.
