Accountant – Billing & ERP Operations

Location:

Job Type:

Full-time | On-site

Job Description:

KMK Higher Secondary & Montessori School is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Junior Accountant to handle billing, data entry, and ERP-related accounting work. This is a junior manager-level role suitable for candidates with experience in school billing, fee tracking, ERP software, and day-to-day accounts management.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and manage school billing and fee receipts through ERP/Accounts software
Enter and reconcile daily fee transactions, vendor bills, and payment records
Maintain updated student billing records and follow up on dues if required
Assist in preparing monthly account summaries and fee reports
Coordinate with parents, admin team, and management for billing-related queries
Maintain digital and physical records in an organized manner
Support year-end auditing and document preparation

Required Skills:

Experience in school billing/accounts or office billing roles (1–3 years preferred)
Strong familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, ERP systems (Tally, School ERP, or equivalent)
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Quick learner with good organizational and time management skills
Polite and professional communication, especially when interacting with parents
Basic understanding of accounting principles

Eligibility:

Graduate in any field (Commerce background preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Freshers with strong aptitude, basic accounts knowledge, and willingness to learn may also apply
