Job Summary

Ugaoo is hiring for a Horticulture Supervisor to manage daily gardening and landscape maintenance operations across multiple projects, including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control. The role involves leading and supervising gardening teams, assigning tasks, preparing schedules, and ensuring high-quality standards through regular site inspections.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, watering, and pest control at different projects.
Liaise with clients or property owners as necessary to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction.
Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of gardeners.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss plans, progress, and any issues.
Develop and maintain a weekly and monthly work schedule for the gardening team.
Assign tasks based on priority, team skills, and project requirements.
Ensure that all gardening equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Conduct regular inspections of projects to ensure work meets the required standards.
Maintain records of work schedules, tasks completed, and any issues encountered.
Serve as the main point of contact between the gardening team and upper management.
Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Horticulture or similar field
Prior work experience of minimum 3 years as Horticulture Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
Solid knowledge of indoor & outdoor plants, plant care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and pest management.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with strong supervisory skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Self-motivated, Target oriented, results- driven, and enjoy working in team environment etc.
